    Tianjin is located along the west coast of the Bohai Gulf. <br></br> According to preliminary statistics of Tianjin, Tianjin realized some 1.65 trillion yuan of GDP in 2015, up 9.3% on year. Of that, the primary industry accounted for 21.051 billion yuan, up 2.5%, the secondary industry, 772.36 billion yuan, up 9.2%, and tertiary industry, 860.41 billion yuan, up 9.6%. The sector composition continued to optimize to 1.3:46.7:52.0. <br></br> The value of imports and exports of Tianjin totaled 114.35 billion US dollars in 2015, down 14.6% from 2014. Specifically, the export value decreased 2.7% to 51.18 billion US dollars, while the import value declined 22.3% on year to 63.16 billion US dollars.
